The St. Cloud Rox beat the Willmar Stingers 6-5 Sunday night at Bill Taunton Stadium in Willmar. The Rox are now 7-4 on the season.

All-Star reliever Reese Gregory again played a pivotal role for the Rox, holding the Stingers off the scoreboard with runners on the corners and no outs in a one-run game in the bottom of the seventh.

Jason Hoppe earned the win for St. Cloud to improve to 2-3 on the season. The Sauk Rapids native allowed three runs on four hits in five innings.

Brad Strong led the St. Cloud offense with three RBI, including a pair on a triple in the third inning. The Rox finished with ten hits as a team.
