The St. Cloud Rox lost a game in the standings with an 8-3 loss to Rochester Friday at Joe Faber Field. The first place Waterloo Bucks beat the Willmar Stingers with a late rally to take a four game lead over St. Cloud in the North Division.

The Honkers jumped all over the Rox early in the game, with Max Murphy slugging a three-run home run in a four run first inning.

Rochester scored three runs in the top of the fifth inning to take a 8-1 lead and seize control of the game. All three runs came with two outs in the inning.

St. Cloud hosts the Honkers again on Saturday night.
