Rox Swept By Stingers Sunday At Joe Faber Field

The Rox were swept by the Willmar Stingers in a pair of games Sunday at Joe Faber Field. The Stingers won the completion of Saturday night’s rain-shortened game 5-1, then won game two 5-3.

St. Cloud is now 4-2 on the season and will play at Waterloo tonight. 6:35 first pitch with a 6:05 pregame on AM 1390 the Fan. Austin Casperson will start for the Rox.

Clay Ardeeser leads the Rox, and the entire Northwoods League with a .556 average on the season. The Loganville, Georgia native is 10-18 this year with ten walks and just one strikeout.

Reese Gregory leads the team in pitching with 0.00 ERA and eleven strikeouts in eight innings pitched. The former Apollo Eagle and current St. Cloud State Husky pitched on Saturday and earned a no-decision.
