Rox Thump Thunder Bay In Series Opener Monday

The Rox beat up on Thunder Bay Monday night in a 12-3 shellacking at Joe Faber Field. St. Cloud second baseman Chris Paul was 5-5 in the win.

The Rox sent 13 hitters to the plate in a seven-run seventh inning to distance themselves from the Border Cats.

Adam Martin, Luke Weber, and Clay Williamson each had multi-RBI games for St. Cloud.

Jason Hoppe got the win for the Rox with five innings of six-hit, two-run ball. The Sauk Rapids native improved his record to 1-3 on the season.

St. Cloud hosts Thunder Bay Tuesday night at 7:05.
