‘Runner Runner’ Movie Review [VIDEO]
A poor college student who realistically comes to find out what appears to be to good to be true, it probably is in this film best defined as a crime, drama, thriller titled, 'Runner Runner'.The film stars Ben Affleck (Ivan Block), Justin Timberlake (Ritchie Furst) and Gemma Artheron (Rebecca Shafran), the film is rated 'R' and runs 91 minutes.
Richie Furst who's a Princeton grad student , believing he's been cheated on a gaming website,therefore; he travels to Costa Rica to confront online gambling tycoon who is responsible Ivan Block.
Richie finds himself being seduced by Ivan's promise of great wealth, who wouldn't be right? Ritchie eventually learns what's really going on with Ivan's game plan and it isn't with good intention.
The FBI is and has been involved and their mission to coerce Richie to help bring down Block and his operation. In this film Richie finds out what it's really like to gamble as he tries to outmaneuver the two forces are rapidly closing in on him.
Parental guide: the film does contain profanity, sexual content, violence and alcohol use.
I give the film a 3 out of 5, the story has a good lead to keep you in tune as it's based on real events, a good plot and a fine ending.
