Rush Brings Clockwork Angels Tour to Minnesota’s Target Center [RUSH TOUR SCHEDULE]

A week ago, Rush unveiled that their 20th studio album album, Clockwork Angels, their first new collection of original material in over five years will be released as a digital download, on CD and on vinyl on June 12th. Just this morning (April 19th) they announced their Clockwork Angels Tour will bring them to the Target Center on September 24th. Ticket info is forthcoming. After a nearly three year process, Clockwork Angels is being heralded as one of their best and returns to their roots of concept album delivery. Lyrically, Clockwork Angels chronicles a young man’s quest across a lavish and colorful world of steampunk and alchemy as he attempts to follow his dreams. The story features lost cities, pirates, anarchists, an exotic carnival, and a rigid Watchmaker who imposes precision on every aspect of daily life. A novel is even in the works, being written by science fiction writer Kevin J. Anderson in collaboration with drummer and lyricist Neil Peart.
