Ryan O’Neal has Cancer

70 year old actor Ryan O'Neal has been diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer.Ryan recently told 'People' Magazine, "Although I was shocked and stunned by the news, I feel fortunate that it was detected early and according to my extraordinary team of doctors the prognosis is positive for a full recovery." That is definitely good news, we wish him the best.

This isn't the first time O'Neal has battled cancer. Back in the late 90's the actor was diagnosed and treated for myelogenous leukemia.

Ryan's longtime partner Farrah Fawcett died of anal cancer at the age of 62 just three years ago. Ryan wrote a memoir about his life with Farrah called 'Both of Us' which will be released on May 1st.
