The Red Rocker will bring his party-like concert tour show to The MN State Fair Grandstand stage at the end of August.

Dubbed Four Decades of Rock, the former tequlia-magnate is planning to hit several states on a whirlwind tour that begins in late July with a date in Arizona and winds up in early September with a show in the Bay Area.  Along the way, the rip-roaring line-up backing him will tear up the Grandstand stage on August 24th.

Sammy is fronting a mashed-up version of two former bands; Chickenfoot and Montrose. On tour with Hagar this time around will be former Van Hagar/Chickenfoot comrade Michael Anthony on bass and ex-Montrose members Denny Carmassi and Bill Church. Contemplating the name of the tour, we'll assume a slew of Montrose, Chickenfoot and even HSAS/Van Hagar tunes at the show.

Ticket info is forthcoming and the announcement is so new that he hasn't even been listed on the Grandstand page at the MN State fair website.

Pre-sale information for most of the dates is available at Hagar’s website.
