St. Cloud State men’s hockey begins the inaugural National Collegiate Hockey Conference Tournament tonight at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center against Miami University.

SCSU finished the NCHC's inaugural season as champions of the league with a record of 15-6-3 in conference play and 21-8-5 record overall.

Miami University, the preseason favorite to win the conference in the coaches' poll, finished in last place in the eight team conference with a record of 6-17-1 in conference play and 12-19-3 overall.

Friday’s game faces off at 7:37, with Saturday and Sunday’s game (if nec) played at 7 PM.

SCSU split the season series with Miami 2-2.
