The St. Cloud State men's hockey team will play without one of their top players Ben Hanowski this week against 6th ranked North Dakota.  Hanowski took a hard hit against Minnesota State-Mankato on October 27.  Hanowski's injury has not been disclosed and he was re-evaluated this week.  Head coach Bob Motzko wouldn't disclose the injury but it's suspected to be head related.

Motzko suggested that the earliest the Hanowski could return would be the series against Minnesota-Duluth on November 23-24 but he'd be happy to have Hanowski back by Christmas.  Hanowski has 3 goals and 2 assists in 5 games for the Huskies this season.

SCSU is 5-3-0 and ranked #15 in the latest USCHO.com poll. The Huskies will host #6 North Dakota at 7:37 Friday night and 7:07 Saturday night.
