The St. Cloud State men's hockey team improved to 13-5-1 in WCHA play Friday night with a 4-0 shutout win at Bemidji. Huskies goaltender Ryan Faragher made 24 saves to earn the shutout.

SCSU scored three goals less than three minutes apart in the first period, beginning with a Nic Dowd goal at 9:35. Brooks Bertsch scored at 11:08 to make it 2-0, then Ben Hanowski found the back of the net at 11:57.

St. Cloud freshman Jonny Brodzinski extended his point scoring streak to 12 games with an empty net goal late in the third. Brodzinski leads the team with 12 goals on the season.
