St. Cloud State defenseman and Sauk Rapids native Ethan Prow has been named a Top Ten Finalist for the Hobey Baker Award. Prow and teammate Charlie Lindgren were both announced as initial nominees.

Prow leads NCAA defensemen in scoring with 34 points (8 goals and 26 assists) and has helped the Huskies to a 29-8-1 record this season.

The senior is the sixth Husky to be named a finalist for the award, joining Mark Hartigan in 2002, Bobby Goepfert in 2007, Ryan Lasch in 2008, Drew LeBlanc in 2013 and Nic Dowd in 2014. LeBlanc won the award in 2013.

The Huskies will be the #2 seed in the NCHC Frozen Faceoff this weekend at Target Center. SCSU will match up with Denver in the semifinals at 7:37 Friday night.
