Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Effect ‘Til 10 PM

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for a large portion of Central Minnesota in effect until 10 PM tonight. Some storms this evening in Central Minnesota could be severe, with large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain. Stay tuned to 98.1 for possible warnings.

The storms will pass quickly as a cold front advances through the area. Expect gradually clearing skies overnight -- with cooler and less humid conditions across the area on Labor Day.
