Shatner Killed Off in the LAST Priceline Ad

Word came out this week that Priceline had decided to move in a different direction with their famous Priceline Negotiator ads starring William Shatner.

HOWEVER- as true Trekkers know, it take more than a silly executive decision to take out Cpt. Kirk. A spokesman for the company told CNNMoney;

"We only killed off the negotiator," he said. "William Shatner is still under contract," company spokesman Brian Ek said Friday.

Shatner told CNNMoney he's also in the dark about Priceline's plans.

"They're leaving me on the same cliffhanger you're on," he said. "They're careful to mention that I still have a contract."

Apparently The Shat is still under contract for another year.
