UNDATED -- The recent warm weather and rain could have some affects on fish houses out on county lakes.

Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott says ice fisherman should not wait until last minute to removed their fish houses.

Several county lakes have standing water and when the weather returns to below freezing, the ice houses will freeze to the lake surface.

Brott adds to be careful when removing fish houses as the warm weather may have affected ice conditions and thickness.
