Should Central Minnesota Breweries Become Dog-Friendly? [Vote]
A problem as old as time itself, you want to go out and have a few drinks with your friends, but you also want to spend time with your dog. What if you could do both?! At the moment there is only one brewery that can legally allow dogs into its taproom in Minnesota, and that is Legends and Lakes Brewing in Minneapolis.
You may have been down in the cities before trying out different craft beers and petting other peoples dogs, but those adorable companions were there illegally! It is a law in Minnesota that live animals are not allowed in places that serve food or alcohol (of course there is an exception for service animals), and the only way Legends and Lakes is getting around this is with a variance. Read more on that here. There are a few rules that go along with that variance, like employees not being able to pet the dogs, and the dogs aren't allowed to eat or drink from anything humans eat and drink from. Those seem like pretty common sense rules to me!
What do you think? Would you want to go somewhere like Beaver Island Brewing or Urban Lodge and be able to bring your dog with? Let us know in the poll below!
