You see it all the time, someone on the phone while they are driving. Most of the time you notice it because they are driving too slow or generally just not paying attention to their driving.

Many states have the "hands free" phone law already. I think California was the first to enact such a law because of the traffic problems there. The last thing you need is some dork holding his phone and not paying attention to what's happening around them.

Most newer vehicles are now equipped with Bluetooth where you can receive and make phone calls as well as receive and listen to text messages. So, maybe this problem will eventually fix itself.

In the meantime, do we need a law that keeps you from using a hand held phone while driving?
