Should You Get An Award Just for Touring?

Kids get awards just for trying, so why not an award for touring?

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, the Rolling Stones and Bon Jovi are all being recognized for being some of the most touring bands in the last year.

Those three acts are all up for Billboard's Touring Awards. The awards are to honor artists, venues and even the crews behind the scenes of some of the most successful tours out there.

Bruce and Bon Jovi are going to duke it out for Top Tour, which is based on earnings, and also for Top Draw, which is based on attendance. I’m going to give that one to Bon Jovi. I mean, they’ve seen a million faces and rocked them all. The Rolling Stones are in the running for Top Boxscore which goes to the artist with the most successful run of shows. The Stones and Bon Jovi are going to head to head for Haul of Fame which goes to the biggest touring acts from the last decade.

The Billboard Touring Awards are happening November 14 in New York City.
