I'm not even going to lie a little bit. Guitar Center Sessions is one of my guilty pleasures and now Slash will be featured on a new episode.

If you've never seen the Guitar Center Sessions before, it's great. They interview artists and ask about some of their biggest hits and they perform live on the show. It's like VH1's Storytellers, but better.

The episode with Slash will also feature Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. Myles Kennedy is the lead singer for the band Alter Bridge and the two met when Velvet Revolver was auditioning new lead singers after Scott Weiland's departure. When Slash was recording his album Slash and Friends a few years ago, he asked Myles Kennedy to help out on the record, plus Slash is bringing Myles Kennedy along for his summer tour this year, so I think it's safe to say the two are friends.

The Slash episode will be the premiere for the new season of Guitar Center Sessions on May 18 on DirecTV's Audience Network at 8pm. You can also catch Slash and Myles Kennedy in concert Monday night at The Brick in Minneapolis.
