Slash To Renew Wedding Vows. Awe.

Slash and wife Perla are set to renew their wedding vows on their 10th anniversary. Why did this day almost not arrive? 

In August of last year, Guns n' Roses guitarist Slash announced that he was separating from his wife of almost nine years. Now, I'm not married yet, but I thought it was pretty sad news. I hate hearing about people getting divorced and I truly thought that this was one rock marriage that was going to last, so imagine my surprise when I heard they had reconciled and then stumbled across this little gem.

Slash took to his Facebook page to announce that he and Perla have decided to recommit themselves to one another and are set to renew their wedding vows in conjunction with their ten year wedding anniversary. No official place was announced, but the couple tied the knot October 15, 2001 and have two sons together.

In other GNR news, former bassist Duff McKagan has announced that the project his is working on called Loaded will be visually exploring their new album The Taking and creating a feature film around it. No release date for the film has been announced.
