Smart People Drink More

Wow, according to this study I might be genius. Not a lot of research out there that would come to that conclusion. Scientists followed 3000 sets of twins, and found that the siblings who exhibited higher intelligence, started drinking earlier in life, and drink more now. Eureka!

And more good news, according to the study results posted on TheFrisky.com (that sounds credible, right?) the drinking didn’t seem to be a big social problem for the brainy twins, as the researchers found that higher intelligence acts as a sort of “protective factor,” keeping the smarties from drifting into alcoholism and addiction.

I love science. Please pass the whiskey (Pendleton if you’ve got it). Cheers!
