Target Field comes alive for another summer of baseball today as the Minnesota Twins (1-5) take the field in Minneapolis for the first time in 2015, hosting the Kansas City Royals (6-0) this afternoon.

More than 40,000 baseball fans are expected to attend what will be the Twins' first sellout in 110 games. The last sell-out came back in on August 3, 2013 against the Houston Astros.

Gates open at 1:00, with sunshine and a game-time temperature in the lower 60s expected.

Minnesota Timberwolves' Kevin Garnett will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Right hander Trevor May will make his first start of the season for the Twins, facing Kansas City left-hander Danny Duffy.

First pitch is set for 3:10 PM CT (Radio: 1240 WJON, TV: Fox Sports North).
