KIMBALL - Over three miles with insanity filled obstacles took over the hillside at Powder Ridge Winter Recreation Area.

Most of the time people attend Powder Ridge they are covering up for the cold, but Saturday they were working through massive inflatables in almost 90 degree weather.

The "Insane Inflatable 5K" has made Kimball one of it's annual stops on it's North American tour. It is the world's largest inflatable obstacle course.

Stuart Kaul is a Co-Founder of the Insane Inflatable 5K. He says this event is for everyone.

"Whether you have run 5K's all your life or have never run one ever, this is a great opportunity to get out and be a kid again for the day."

The first wave left at 8:15 a.m with waves going every 15 minutes until 11:00 a.m.

There is even a smaller course for families with smaller children.

Kaul says they love getting feedback from participants so they know what kind of innovations they should create next.

"Every year we try to come up with some new ideas and concepts and see what people like. We get a lot of feedback from people and we take that feedback and create obstacles based on that feedback."

Organizers say the Powder Ridge course provides it's own obstacles because of all the hills on the course.
