The second single off their second album Purple, it's their second most successful song (behind Interstate Love Song). During STP's performance of the tune on VH1 Storytellers, singer Scott Weiland says the song is about "feeling like an insect under a magnifying glass."
Like many videos by grunge bands it contains disjointed surrealistic imagery.
