St. Cloud Apollo Drops Breck 1-0 In Overtime

The St. Cloud Apollo Boys Hockey team (23-4-2) stung #4 seed Breck (21-8) 1-0 in overtime last night in the quarterfinals of the Minnesota Class A Boys Hockey Tournament at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. Apollo advances to face Hermantown (26-2-1) Friday in the semifinals.

Brandon Bissett scored the loan goal for the Eagles. Top-seed Hermantown dispatched Spring Lake Park 8-0 earlier in the evening.

Apollo vs. Hermantown is set for 1 PM Friday afternoon at the Xcel Energy Center,a nd can be seen on Twin Cities 45TV (Charter 17/788, Dish 45, DirecTV 45).
