Thankfully when St. Cloud finally has its much anticipated apocalypse, Costco will be in town to make sure we can all survive. It'll only cost you $6,000 and they're ready to feed you for a year.

Later this year the city of St. Cloud will welcome a new Costco into town. Much like Sam's Club, they are a provider of bulk items to both businesses and people just like you and I. When I say "bulk" I'm not joking, and here's the biggest bulk order you'd ever be likely to buy -- if you believe in a major catastrophe coming to the area.

Costco has an option to place an order for an entire year supply of food to feed a family of 4, and it's only going to cost you $6,000. That equals to be about $16 per day to feed a family, or 17 cents per serving.

What does that $6k give you? Here's what they'll ship to you in a bunch of discrete boxes, which I'm sure your delivery person will love you for...

Costco isn't the only one that's offering enough food to survive a natural disaster. Walmart (and I presume Sam's Club will as well), and Amazon both are offering their own versions of this sort of thing, and people are buying them!!

As much as I can this being purchased right after you build your bomb shelter, I'm not sure that good ole' St. Cloud, or much of anywhere in Minnesota will be buying this bulk Nutristore food kit. Unless our fault line completely tears the state in half, or the Walking Dead becomes a reality, the worse we have to deal with is just a bad blizzard for a month straight -- and that's why we have a bar on every corner.
