This time around, the number crunchers at WalletHub have taken to the task of ranking college towns in America based on size -- dividing them into Large, Mid-size, and Small city categories. How did St. Cloud and other Minnesota college towns fare? Find out here.

St. Cloud was slotted in the 'small' city category and came in at #46 out of the 166 small cities ranked. Other Minnesota college towns in the 'small' category were Duluth (#42) and Rochester (#43).

Minneapolis came in at #5 on the 'large' list, and ranked #17 over all of the 326 cites rated.

St. Paul is listed at #17 on the mid-sized' city list, and came in at 75th overall. St. Cloud shows up at #121 on the overall list.

The researchers looked at housing & food costs, crime, nightlife, shopping, recreation, part-time job availability, and more.
