ST. CLOUD -- The Salvation Army's Family Store in St. Cloud is up for sale.

The store has been in business for almost five years, however donations have slowed to the point it's not worth staying open.

Major Mike Parker says:

"the purpose of having a store is to support the programs the Salvation Army offers, and when the numbers don't add up, we need to focus on other efforts to raise money."

The store will remain open until it's sold. Parker says while the store will close, the Salvation Army as a whole will remain open.

The St. Cloud Salvation Army would like to thank all donors, volunteers and shoppers for their support of the store.
