Stearns County to Hold Final Input Session on Transportation Funding

ST. CLOUD -- Stearns County will hold one more public input meeting on transportation funding options to get feedback before county commissioners make a decision.

There is a meeting Wednesday evening at the St. Cloud Public Library. It starts at 6:00 p.m. in the Bremer Community Room.

It's your last chance to weigh-in on whether the county should raise the wheelage tax, enact a transportation sales tax or make no changes to funding road construction projects before the public hearing.

County commissioners will hold a public hearing next week as part of their regularly scheduled meeting before making a decision.  The public hearing is scheduled for 9:10 a.m. Tuesday, June 20 in the county board room.
