Good news, a Greek (the country, not a fraternity) study suggests that drinking beer may help improve blood flow to the heart. As Benjamin Franklin said, "Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." And apparently healthy too.

According to the UPI, it turns out researchers in Greece have discovered that drinking beer causes your blood vessels to become more flexible, helping blood to flow more smoothly.

Wine and liquor did not have the same effect.

North Dakota, New Hampshire, Montana, South Dakota, and Wisconsin beer drinkers gulped down the most brew per capita last year.

As always we here at The Loon are trying to do our best to promote your healthy lifestyle. 'Free Beer Friday' is tomorrow, and you can win 12-packs from Third Street Brewhouse in Cold Spring just for listening between 9 and 5.  Cheers!
