ST. CLOUD - Summertime by George is welcoming some great new food options to the weekly festival this year.

Free music and the chance to gather with your neighbors a just a few of the great reasons why Summertime by George has become a staple of the St. Cloud area. One of the other great parts of the the weekly summer festival is a chance to take in a taste of Central Minnesota.

Cindy Hawker is the Vice President of the St. Cloud Rotary Club. She says the event is happy to welcome some great new options.

"We have 28 different food options and five new food vendors this year. One of the new options is a great mexican bakery and an adorable food trailer called Grandstand Concessions"

Marni Gustafson is the owner of Grandstand Concessions. This is her first year in business. She says they have some great options for people visiting this summer.

"The Grandstand Concession Company started as kind of a dream. We started the ball rolling about a year ago. Our cheese curds are really good and we have the up north corn pup today which is a wild rice, cheddar cheese and blueberry brat dipped in batter and fried on a stick."

The other new food options include Cutting Edge Catering by Nelson Bros,  Bakery & Pasteleria Alvarez, Spice of Life Tea, and Firehouse Subs.
