The Denver Broncos signed former Viking quarterback Christian Ponder to backup Brock Osweiler and Trevor Siemien with Peyton Manning nursing a foot injury. Ponder signed with the Oakland Raiders in the off-season but didn't make the cut with the Raiders out of training camp.

Unable to recover from last week's ankle injury in time, the Minnesota Vikings have listed Teddy Bridgewater as 'inactive' for tonight's game in Green Bay -- opening the door for the return of last year's starting QB Christian Ponder, now third string on the squad.
