The 4th of July holiday is synonymous with fireworks and officials with the Minnesota Safety Council are hoping you consider attending a public fireworks display rather than lighting your own.
This year is the 70th consecutive 4th of July Fireworks celebration in St. Cloud. Board President Tom Richardson says there's a full day of festivities again this year at the two parks along the Mississippi River.
