Minnesota Wild left wing Zach Parise found himself picking his teeth up off the ice after taking a puck to the mouth in last night's 2-1 win over Edmonton.

You're killing me. You know things are bad when I feel like the Vikings have had the most success as of late. (Yes, the 7-9 Vikings.)

Matt Cooke scored the Wild’s lone goal at 15:08 of the third period, his third of the season. The Wild outshot Chicago 37-35 in the loss. The Wild are now seven points out of a playoff spot with 41 games remaining in the season.

The Minnesota Wild lost 4-2 at home against Chicago Thursday night. Chicago scored 2 first period goals before Jason Zucker scored in the 2nd period. Bryan Bickel scored twice in the 3rd period for Chicago including an empty net goal.
