Aerosmith Back to Work on the New Album
February 22, 2012 Good news for Aerosmith fans - the band is all together now to finish work on the new album. The rest of the band joined Steven Tyler and Joe Perry in Los Angeles, and bassist Tom Hamilton took to Twitter to announce his excitement.

Slash’s Album Title and Cover Art Released
Fear the top hat, Slash is back! The legendary former Velvet Revolver and Slash’s Snakepit guitarist announced the May 22 release of his second studio album, ‘Apocalyptic Love’ on his own Dik Hayd International label.
The album comes shortly after the April 14 induction of his first band, Guns N’ Roses, into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, at which all five original members are expected to be in attendance.

The name of ‘Blood and Fire,’ a newly-previewed song from Van Halen‘s ‘A Different Kind of Truth’ album, probably won’t ring familiar to longtime fans of the band. But Alex Van Halen’s beat and Eddie Van Halen’s noodling on the track may take some knowledgeable fans back to the mid-’80s. That’s because the new song — previewed in the video below — is based on an instrumental called ‘Ripley’ from ‘The Wild Life’ movie.
