I have 'Olympics Fever.' Really can't wait for the Men's Hockey to start for Team USA against Slovakia Thursday morning at 6:30 am CT (NBCSN). Winning an olympic medal as an U.S Olympic athlete means cash in your pocket. The U.S. Olympic Committee pays athletes $25,000 per gold, $15,000 per silver, and $10,000 per bronze. The opening ceremonies for the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia are tonight at 6:30 pm CT on NBC (KARE-11). Qualifying for Freestyle Skiing, Slopestyle Snowboarding, and Team Figure Skating took place yesterday. USA Women's Hockey's first game can be seen live Saturday morning at 2:00 am CT on NBCSN.
Even though the opening ceremonies aren't until tomorrow night, the competition begins today at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Slopestyle Snowboarding, Freestyle Skiing, and Figure Skating highlight tonight's action. Coverage begins tonight at 7 pm CT on NBC (KARE-11).
