The St. Cloud State Men's Hockey team (12-2-1) has regained the #1 ranking in both D-1 national hockey polls this week -- following their Friday tie and Saturday win over visiting North Dakota.

The St. Cloud Huskies Men's hockey team (30-8-1) beat the Denver Pioneers (23-9-5) 4-2 last night in the semifinal round of the NCHC's Frozen Face-off at the Target Center. Earlier in the day UM-D beat North Dakota 4-2 -- setting up tonight's championship game between SCSU and the UM-D Bulldogs.

The Huskies will play against Denver at 7:38 p.m. Friday in the NCHC Frozen Faceoff semifinals. Should they win, SCSU would play the winner of Minnesota-Duluth and North Dakota Saturday night at 7:38 p.m. With a loss, the Huskies will play the loser of that game for third place Saturday afternoon.
