Two St. Cloud Rox players and 2 Gopher baseball players have been taken in the MLB draft. The former Rox players include infielder Brice Mathews who was taken by the Houston Astros with the 28th overall pick.

The St. Cloud Rox lost 16-2 at Willmar Monday night. The Rox took a 2-0 lead in the 1st inning when Michael McNamara hit a 2-run home run. The Stingers scored 16 unanswered runs to run away with the win.

The St. Cloud Rox posted their 3rd straight win with a 3-2 victory over the La Crosse Loggers Wednesday night at Joe Faber Field. The Rox scored 1 run in the 2nd inning and 2 runs in the 4th inning.

The St. Cloud Rox won their 2nd straight game 9-5 over the Mankato Moon Dogs Tuesday night in St. Cloud. The Rox scored 3 1st inning runs and never trailed from there.

The St. Cloud Rox snapped a 3-game losing streak with a 4-0 win at Mankato Monday night. Kolten Smith threw 7 1/3 innings with 5 hits and no runs allowed with 10 strikeouts to get the win.

The St. Cloud Rox edged the Willmar Stingers 5-4 in 11 innings in Willmar Thursday night. Albert Choi scored the game winning run for the Rox in the 11th inning and finished with 2 hits and 2 RBI for St. Cloud.

The St. Cloud Rox scored 15 runs to take game 1 over the Minnesota Mud Puppies at Joe Faber Field Wednesday afternoon to win 15-9. The Mud Puppies outhit the Rox 11-9. St. Cloud scored 7 runs in the 3rd inning and 5 more runs in the 6th inning.

Michael Busch is back in the Majors. The 2nd baseman/outfielder made his major league debut on April 23rd this season but his stay in the majors was short. In 29 at bats this season for the Dodgers Busch has hit .207 with no home runs and 2 RBI.

The Rox won 4-1 at La Crosse against the Loggers Thursday night to start a 2-game series. The win is the 3rd straight for St. Cloud. The Rox scored 4 runs in the 2nd inning and the Loggers scored their lone run in the 7th.

The St. Cloud Rox posted their 10th win of the season with a 10-2 win at Thunder Bay against the Border Cats Monday night. St. Cloud scored 7 1st inning runs and added single runs in the 6th, 7th and 9th innings.

The Rox lost 7-4 at home to the Thunder Bay Border Cats Sunday to fall to 9-5 on the season. Thunder Bay struck early with 4 runs in the 2nd inning. St. Cloud came back with single runs in the 3rd and 4th innings but the Border Cats expanded their lead to 5-2 in the 7th inning and 7-2 in the 9th.

The St. Cloud Rox lost in Willmar 8-6 Wednesday night to settle for a split in the 2-game series. The Rox opened up a 6-3 lead in the 4th inning after posting 5 runs in the inning.
