Al Newman and Acceleration Baseball Center are hosting a charity bowling event on Wednesday, July 19th at Great River Bowl in Sartell. The proceeds for the event will go toward registration fees and equipment for local youth baseball baseball players.
The St. Cloud Rox clinched the first-half North Division title Tuesday with an 8-1 win over the Huskies at Wade Stadium in Duluth. The Rox finished the first half with a 25-11 record.

The Rox will play at Bismarck Monday and Tuesday on AM 1390. First pitch Monday night is scheduled for 7:05, with Tuesday's matinee beginning at 11:05 a.m.
The Rox are 11-4 and in second place in the North Division, trailing the Waterloo Bucks by a half-game. St. Cloud has Wednesday off and will head to LaCrosse Thursday to begin a series with the Loggers.
