Family, friends and officers gathered at Lions Park in Cold Spring today (Thursday), to officially dedicate a section of Highway 23 as the 'Tom Decker Memorial Highway.'
Hundreds upon hundreds of law enforcement officers, lights flashing, led the procession on Wednesday afternoon from Collegeville's St. John's Abbey, through Cold Spring and Richmond, before arriving in the tiny community of St. Nicholas to bury one of their own, Cold Spring's Tom Decker.
An estimated 3,200 people were at St. John's Abbey Church in Collegeville Wednesday to pay their respects to slain Cold Spring Police Officer Tom Decker. Many of those in attendance were police officers from all across America.
