The National Weather Service as issued a Winter Weather Advisory for parts of Central Minnesota including St. Cloud for the possibility of 4-8" of snow in effect from 6 PM tonight through 6 PM Tuesday. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect to the south including the Twin Cities.

It appears that we could be in store for a white Christmas after all, as the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the St. Cloud area for tonight and tomorrow -- with 3 to 5 inches of snow and strong winds expected.

Mother Nature doesn't care that our calendar says Spring. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Central and Southeastern Minnesota in effect from 11 AM this morning through 1 AM tonight -- with 2 to 4" of snow expected here in St. Cloud (more in some areas).

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for St. Cloud and areas north and east until 9 PM tonight for snow and blowing snow. A Blizzard Warning remains in effect to the south and west, including Wilmar and Morris.

Tuesday, February 10, 2015 -- A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through 9 PM tonight for all but extreme Southwestern Minnesota. 3-5" of snow is expected in the St. Cloud area and points North. Lesser amounts are expected to the South. Both commutes will be impacted today.

The National Weather Service has extended the Winter Weather Advisory for Central Minnesota through 7 PM this evening.  A quick burst of snow is expected to produce 1 to 3 inches of new snow across our area, causing tricky travel for the evening commute.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until Noon today for the possibility of sleet and freezing rain making the morning drive slick. Then another system moves in Saturday night and Sunday bringing a better chance of accumulating snow, with 2 to 4 inches possible in Saint Cloud.

The combination of fresh snowfall and very strong winds has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Winter Weather Advisory (purple) for the Saint Cloud area, and a Blizzard Warning (red) to the south and west of our area in effect until 3 AM Friday morning.
