He's come a long way since the sixties when in the band, "The Royal High Boys" and 'The Lourds". Roughly 1967-1968, "The Amboy Dukes" were formed, then "Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes" all before 1975 when it was Billed as "Ted Nugent".

Ted has had many a nickname Uncle Ted,Terrible Ted, The Detroit Madman, The Motor City Mad Man, The Nuge, and The Whackmaster.

Ted known for his strong political conservative political views and a spokesman for hunting and gun rights has made 34 albums and sold more than 30 Million records.

He had many a musical influence here just a few Vanilla Fudge, Jeff Beck, The Ventures, Wayne Cochran, Jimmy Page, The Yardbirds, Duane Eddy, Eric Clapton,, Steppenwolf, Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels, The Animals, Frank Zappa, and Muddy Waters.

He formed , "Damn Yankees" in 1982 after that project he returned to a solo career. Most recent tour was, 'The Great White Buffalo Tour'(2012).

"Wango Tango" is from the album 'Scream Dream' and was ranked seventh in "Guitar World's", '100 Worst Guitar Solos'.
