In true Ted Nugent fashion, when it comes to guns, he can't keep his mouth closed. Now he's making some rather inflammatory comments about the George Zimmerman verdict.

It's no secret that Ted Nugent loves guns. It's also no secret that Ted Nugent has an opinion about pretty much everything and now he's speaking up about the George Zimmerman case and it's making some of Trayvon Martin's supporters rather upset.

In an article for the conservative website Rare, Ted calls 17 year old Trayvon Martin a, "dope smoking, racist gangsta wannabe" and says that Zimmerman used, "the purest form of self-defense there is." Zimmerman was acquitted of second degree murder over the weekend. He was accused of shooting and killing Trayvon Martin after an encounter between the two turned violent.

Ted said that Dr. Martin Luther King is probably, "rolling over in his grave" because, "so many of his own race carry on in self-destructive behavior while professional race mongers blame everything on racism." Ouch.

Ted sits on the board of directors for the National Rifle Association and he feels that Zimmerman did what was necessary to protect his own life. Prosecutors in the case believe that Zimmerman's actions were the result of racial profiling, but according to Florida's Stand Your Ground Law, Zimmerman was allowed to use whatever force was necessary to protect his own life.

Several protests and marches have been carried out across the country as many believe that Zimmerman was guilty and should not have been acquitted. Trayvon's family can still file a wrongful death suit in the matter, and the Department of Justice is investigating whether or not to open a human rights violation case against Zimmerman.
