Ted Nugent To Guest As A Cartoon Version Of Himself

The Motor City Madman has a tour stop in...Springfield? 

Yes, it's true! Ted Nugent will play himself in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons.

According to Entertainment Weekly Magazine, Nugent will star in an episode titled, "Politically Inept With Homer Simpson" where Ted will play a Republican presidential candidate who spends the episode lobbying for Homer's endorsement. Homer will apparently have his own political talk show called "Gut Check With Homer Simpson".

Ted is not the first rock super star to get The Simpsons treatment. He joins Sir Paul McCartney, Sting, Aerosmith and Green Day among others who have made stops in Springfield. Ted's episode will air next season.
