Ten Greatest Running Backs Of All Time Doesn’t Include AP?
Ok, I know I'm a biased Minnesota Vikings fan, and that Adrian Peterson has struggled through some tough times of late, but really? He's not among the top-ten running backs of all-time? Sorry, but gotta call bul#$^it.
The Cheat Sheet listed the top-ten backs, and while there is some doubt as to who is number-one, AP has absolutely got to be in the discussion of top-ten. (BTW: I would guess he's carrying the ball wearing purple again this Fall.)
Here's who I think comes in on the list with AP. Thoughts?
- Jim Brown
- Walter Payton
- <------ I would insert Adrian Peterson here.
- Emmitt Smith
- Barry Sanders
- Eric Dickerson
- LaDainian Tomlinson
- OJ Simpson (Seriously, OJ makes it, but AP doesn't? So much for public opinion.)
- Tony Dorsett
- Gayle Sayers
Bumped off their top-ten list by my insertion of AP, is Thurman Thomas who would drop to #11 by my standards. But nobody asked me (also known as Thursday).
Skol!
