The epic 12 12 12 Concert for Sandy Relief was a show for the ages and now it's coming soon to a store near you.

I've always been one to get an album and rip it open to look at the album art closely, look at the gate fold and the liner notes. Now with mp3, that's kind of all gone away, but the 12 12 12 Concert for Sandy Relief organizers understand so the actual, physical album will be released to stores next month.

The 12 12 12 Concert for Sandy Relief was six hours of music from some of the biggest artists along with stories from some of the hardest hit victims as well as celebrities and lawmakers talking about how they were affected by the storm.

The 12 12 12 Concert for Sandy Relief Album will be a two disc CD and will feature 24 performances from 11 artists. The track listing includes two songs from Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, three from Roger Waters, two from Bon Jovi, two from Eric Clapton, both of the Rolling Stones songs they did, three from The Who and just one from Paul McCartney. Adam Sandler, R&B singer Alicia Keys and singer Chris Martin from Coldplay are also featured on the album.

The digital version is available now through iTunes. The CD will be in stores January 22. All proceeds will benefit the Robin Hood Foundation.
