The Rolling Stones, who despite various rumours to the contrary have not confirmed a 2012 tour, are nonetheless the most anticipated show of the new year according to The Toronto Sun.

It's still assumed by many that given 2012 marks the band's 50th anniversary that they will hit the road.

Another legendary (and newly reunited) rock act, The Beach Boys, come in at #2 on the Sun's list.

Brian Wilson, Mike Love, and David Marks will share a stage together for the first time since 1963 on The Boys' massive celebration tour.

Rock acts dominate the list as Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, who have dates already scheduled througout Europe and will then head for North America, come in at #3.

The freshly reunuited Black Sabbath and Van Halen also make the cut along with Roger Waters (June 3rd at Xcel Energy Center), The Who, Rush and Fleetwood Mac.
