How does one fill the shoes of Eric Clapton, the answer is Peter Green, no doubt; he rose the challenge was there for him in 1966 when he replaced Eric Clapton.

He only appears on one album with Mayall, 'A Hard Road.'

Peter's superb work on tracks such as "The Stumble" plus his own composition, "The Supernatural" brought him rapid  attention of British blues rock fans. Green would leave The Bluesbreakers in 1967.

Peter would be joined by two other Mayall alumni, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie, together the three  formed the first edition of Fleetwood Mac.
