It's been Thirty years since we've heard from Asia when their self-titled debut album was at the top of the Billboard Top 100 chart and stayed Number one for nine weeks, question is can they do it again with the new album XXX.

XXX is their new project with all new material and the kicker here is the rumor of a world tour to include the UK, Japan, Europe and of course the good ol' USA.   That's not all, prepare for the 30th Anniversary edition of their self-titled debut album AND two DVDs. XXX will also be available on vinyl ( remember what those are?).

Mike Paxman (multi-instrumentalist ,songwriter) is the producer of XXX, Asia's 30th anniversary studio album due in July. He also produced Omega for Asia with original members John Wetton (Wishbone Ash, Uriah Heep, King Crimson, Roxy Music), Steve Howe (formerly with Yes), Carl Palmer (E.L.P. fame) and Geoff Downes (Yes, Asia and The Buggles). produced Asia's 30th anniversary studio album XXX due in July. Mike best known for work with Uriah Heep and the band Status Quo.

Honestly I have always appreciated the artwork associated with the Asia album covers. Lets give credit to Roger Dean who created the artwork  for XXX.

"It encapsulates, lyrically and instrumentally, the essence of Asia today. It's the same four people that gave you the original, iconic album 30 years ago. If you loved it then, you'll love it now," said John Wetton.

The whole idea of the album is to recapture the energy of the first album. The band members of Asia have always had great chemistry together with fantastic musicianship. Enjoy the first single off  XXX "Faces under the Bridge," by Asia.
