Supposedly 1.5 million of us will call in sick this coming Monday, the day after the Super Bowl. It costs employers millions in lost productivity. Previous surveys show that more people call, than will actually admit on planning to do so.

The results aren't particularly surprising -- on an average week, 20% of us admit to calling in sick even if we actually aren't. Mondays and Fridays are the most popular days to do so. But once you take a look at the amount of pure junk the gridiron gang eats during the Super Bowl... the fact that we're feeling ooogy this Monday is even less surprising.

This Sunday each of us will intake an average of 3,200 calories. Here's how that adds up for us:

-The most popular football snack is potato chips. We'll crunch 28 million pounds worth about 27 billion calories. It would take 13,333 football players, at 300 pounds each, to balance the 4 million pounds of fat packed from the chips alone.
-14,500 tons of tortilla chips will be dipped into 8 million pounds of guacamole. The 43.8 million pounds of avocados used to make it would fill a stadium.
-8 million pounds of popcorn will be consumed. About 1 million of that will be spilled on the floor.
-The National Chicken Council says 450 million wings are slatherd in 750 million gallons of BBQ sauce. Nearly half of that will reside on your belly shelf.
And finally:
It is estimated that nearly 50 million cases of beer will be chugged.
Oh yeah...
There's a 20% increase in antacid sales the day after the Super Bowl.
Shocker.
